Goals of Trenton Historical
Society
Without individual memory, a person literally loses
his or her identity. Memory, indeed, makes us human. Our collective memory,
carefully gathered, cataloged, analyzed and revised, bespeak group values
(community values) for the present and gives context to plan future group
endeavors.
The Society promotes preserving Trenton’s fast
fading Jewish history through publications, tapes, and archives.
The Society disseminates such information through
open meetings, the written and spoken words and other appropriate means.
