Holy shit, thats what broad st looks like with no pot
holes.
Does anyone know the
history of this house? Why does it have a state seal (a relief sculpture) and
the dates “1868–1922” on it?
The address is 39 N
Clinton Ave, Trenton, NJ 08609, and it’s currently used by Catholic Charities.
According to the 1890 Sanborn-Perris Map, the building was already there back
then, and the “1868” inscription was already on it. After 1922, it became the
office of the Standard Fire Insurance Company.
Any insights or stories
about this place?
